2025
2025 or the opportunity to change for the better. For me, I know it will be a transformative year in many ways. Transformations are never free and always lead us to achieve something better. If all goes well, next year you will be able to read my second crime novel. If all goes well, I will also finish a third crime novel in 2025. Let me tell you that I have some ideas saved for other novels, and no, they are not necessarily crime novels.
I write because, for me, it is a drive for personal growth that helps me develop both personally and professionally. I write because I enjoy telling stories, and because I like these stories to reach many readers. I write, quite simply, because I love doing it.
But before writing more in 2025, I want to close circles. Circles that I consider essential to close fairly, without tolerating further injustices or allowing them to waste any more of my time. A few days ago, I was talking to a friend about the importance of closing circles before opening new ones, and how true it is. I need to close some circles before continuing on my path and opening new ones. I do not want to survive within circles that I know do not represent me. Therefore, no more surviving in those circles.
2025 is for living, living like never before. I only want to open circles that allow me to be happy. Circles that make life easier and not more complicated. Circles that free us and bring us closer to our dreams, instead of keeping us tied to our nightmares. I only want circles that make our dreams possible, circles that let me write, live, and smile every time we look into each other’s eyes.
2025 is for being happy and nothing else. And it is then, when I am happy, that I find myself precisely in the circle I desire: a circle of light, of dreams to live, and of the best omens for 2025.
Happy New Year, 2025.
